304 W. Third - photo from Prosperous Pittsburg Pictorially Portrayed 1915
The First Congregational Church was organized in Pittsburg in 1882. This building at 304 W. Third was built in 1905 and was used by the congregation until 1916 when it merged with the United Presbyterian Church. The building was later purchased by the St. John's Lutheran Church which used it until they built a new building on the same site in 1956.
